What we collect, what we don’t, and why.
Last updated May 30, 2026
What we store about you
- Your email address (so we can send you the digest).
- The topics you’ve enabled.
- Optional personalization: city for weather, zip for local news, tickers, subreddits, industries.
- Your delivery time and timezone.
- The date we last sent your digest (so we don’t send twice).
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your data to anyone.
- We don’t put tracking pixels in the email.
- We don’t run analytics on which links you click.
- We don’t share your email with the news sources we link to.
Third parties we use (and why)
- Supabase — stores your account and preferences. Hosted on Postgres.
- Anthropic — the AI (Claude) that writes your digest. We send Claude the raw news data and your topic list. Anthropic does not train on our API traffic.
- Resend — sends the actual email. They handle delivery only; they don’t see your topic preferences.
- News sources — we fetch from public RSS feeds, Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, OpenWeather, ESPN, Wikipedia, and Reddit’s public JSON. None of them receive any of your personal info.
Deleting your data
Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or sign in and disable delivery. To wipe your account entirely, email us and we’ll delete every row within 7 days.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this, we’ll update the date above and send a one-time notification email. We’ll never quietly expand what we collect.
