How much does it cost?
Free while we're small. If we ever introduce a paid tier, you'll be notified in advance and never auto-billed.
How do accounts work?
Sign up with your email, a password, and an optional username. You can sign in any time at the login page, manage every preference from your dashboard, and use the forgot-password flow to set a new password by email if you lose yours.
Can I change my topics or delivery time after signing up?
Yes — any time, from the Preferences screen in your dashboard. Changes apply to your next morning's digest.
What time will my digest arrive?
Whatever time you set, in your timezone. Our scheduler runs every 15 minutes, so delivery is accurate to within a few minutes of your chosen time. Each digest sends once per day.
What topics can I include?
8 categories: Finance & Markets (indices, crypto, commodities, forex, your watchlist, earnings, IPOs, Fed news), World & National News, Tech & Business, Science & Health, Sports, Culture & Entertainment, Personalized (weather, local news, industries, subreddits), and Daily Context (on this day, market hours, economic calendar). Browse them at the Topics page.
Can I narrow down sports coverage?
Yes — three modes. Overview pulls scores from the big four US leagues. Specific leagues lets you pick from the big four plus College Football, Men's & Women's College Basketball, MLS, Premier League, Champions League, F1, and more. Just my teams filters all sports to teams you name — including college and the service academies (Navy, Army, Air Force).
Is there an audio or podcast version?
Yes. Every digest has a ~5-minute audio version read in a natural voice, plus a private podcast feed you can paste into Apple Podcasts (or any app) so each morning's episode arrives automatically. For active podcast listeners we pre-generate the audio so it plays instantly.
Can I get alerted when something moves?
Yes. Set intraday alerts from the Alerts tab — get emailed when a ticker swings by a chosen percent, crosses a price level, or when a keyword you care about hits the headlines. Each alert has an 8-hour cooldown so you're never spammed.
Can I ask questions about my digest?
Yes. The deep-dive page has an ask-anything chat. It answers from your own digest data for your numbers, and searches the live web for anything else — so 'why is NVDA down today?' gets a real, current answer.
Can I install it as an app?
Yes. There's an Install app button in the header and dashboard — one tap on Chrome/Edge/Android. On iPhone, Safari adds it to your home screen via Share → Add to Home Screen (we'll show you how). It opens like a native app.
Do I get a weekly or monthly summary?
Yes — a Sunday weekly recap and a 1st-of-the-month monthly recap, each showing how your watchlist performed over the period. Both respect your snooze and pause settings.
Can I view past digests?
Yes. Every digest you receive is archived to your account. The Past digests tab in your dashboard shows them newest-first. Each one opens to the original email plus an expanded view that lists every source, headline, and quote the AI worked from.
Is the AI ever wrong?
It can be. The model is instructed never to invent data, and topics with no usable data are silently dropped before the AI ever sees them — but as with any summary, verify time-sensitive information (especially market-moving news) with the linked source. Source links are included on every story.
What about financial advice?
We don't give it. The Daybreak Digest is informational only. Watchlist quotes and market context are observations — not recommendations. Talk to a licensed advisor for investment decisions.
Do you track me or sell my data?
No. No tracking pixels in the email, no ad networks, no behavioral data sold. Your email, password hash, and preferences live in our database — that's it. See the Privacy page for the full picture.
How do I pause or unsubscribe?
Every email has manage-preferences and unsubscribe links in the footer. From your dashboard you can pause delivery with a single toggle, snooze it through a specific date (it auto-resumes), or delete your account entirely (wipes everything). Pausing and snoozing keep your preferences.
What if a source is down?
Each topic fetches independently. If one source is unreachable, the rest of your digest still goes out — that topic just gets skipped silently rather than the AI inventing content to fill the space.
Can I add custom topics or sources?
Yes. Beyond the curated list, type your own freeform topics in plain words — “BOJ outlook,” “lithium prices,” “SpaceX” — and we track the latest headlines for each every morning. Custom subreddits and a free-text ticker watchlist are built in too.
